Wada holds a clutch of consistent reefs that work well on a wide swell window. Furthest north is Kieo Mansion, marked by some protruding rocks and breaking into the rivermouth. SE swells and NW winds should see some good lefts. Past some more localised peaks to the south is J's (named after a local surf shop) where it's got a bit of power, especially in the upper size range of double-overhead. It gets crowded but not as much as Shirasuka, the main point around the little headland where the sand-covered reefs hold good shape for both lefts and rights.

Despite the rivermouth, Wada stretch is pretty clean. Pay to park in most places and check the main point from the bridge.
