It's not an impressive wave, but is still the best place for beginners or longboarders looking for a small but fun right. Mushy broken-up rights shoulder off the point into deep water on all swells, but it won't hold too much size. Full of soft tops and old timers who have the place on lock and aren't afraid to let you know you are on their patch.
Sitting south of the port, Waikiki hosted the first Argentinean surf session back in 1963. The place was known as Kikiway back then and the surf club bearing that name still exists today.
