Surf: Once in Wewak, (pop. 63,000), some swell consistency and size might be lost but access and services help make it an enjoyable experience. Wewak Point is a reliable lefthand reefbreak, easy to check from town, tubular at low tide whilst at high tide, the harbour channel produces a soft left. Environment: Swell shadow from the islands so N-NE better.
