Surf: Whalers Anchorage is a very consistent righthander during the winter as it receives the same swells (but smaller) as the north shore of Oahu. In small swells, lefts and rights peeling into a channel and its a fun, ripple wave without the heavy factor of live coral. Environment: Because of the consistent wave action, the bottom is user-friendly coral rubble strewn on flat reef.
