Wildwood/ Five Mile Island surf guide
Surf: Most of the sand from the rest of Jersey’s beach-nourishment program ends up on this 5mile (8km) resort stretch. All swells and tides, with high not being a problem due to the volume of sand. The U.S. Coast Guard owns the island’s prime surfing real estate.
Environment: Stormwater and summer jellyfish but rarely crowded at this non-tagged island resort. Rollercoasters, a million hotels, and WWII pill boxes contribute to the ambiance.
