Surf: West-facing, ultra-consistent beachbreak. Surfable here when most other places are too small. Good peaks at all tides, depending on sandbars. Sheltered from summer NE sea breezes. Environment: Can be crowded. Scenic spot, despite close proximity to industrial city of Avilés. Good beach facilities. Busy in summer with beachgoers. Parking OK apart from the busiest summer weekends. Surprisingly little pollution considering location.
