Tiny town at the mouth of a river of the same name. Beach access through Yachats State Park for good mid tide rights and lefts at the north end reef. Nice looking peaks off the north side of the rivermouth too. To the south, Yachats has some general open beachbreak, subject to all wind and swell directions. If it’s clean, you can definitely surf alone here all day.
Rivermouth area could be sharky. Area has potential – worth checking on glassy days or with an E wind.
