More about Yacht Harbour surfspot

There are a couple of surf spots on mountainous Virgin Gorda, the island known for its massive boulders. Yacht Harbour’s reef at Spanish Town is worth checking on a large NW swell, it’s a tubular A-frame with longer rides to be had on the rights. Very shallow so higher tides usually safer. Other islands to the north have surfing potential, but are too unreliable, unlike the fringing reef on the east coast of Virgin Gorda that has plenty of blown-out waves. The east facing shores of the islands SW of Virgin Gorda are known to receive rideable waves from the occasional summer hurricane swells.

Proper low consistency - you'll be lucky to catch any waves here. Fire coral, urchins and a lot of boat traffic to avoid on long paddle-out.
