Boats point surf guide

Boats Point is a surf spot located near Sidi Ouarsik and Sidi Ifni. It’s known to be a bit of a hidden treasure, tucked away along a rugged coastline. The spot is somewhat tricky to access, with dirt tracks that require a 4x4 vehicle. Look for a creek down by the beach, and you’ll notice two shipwrecks on the sand, which can help you pinpoint your location. Getting there might take a bit of effort, but the desolate environment has its own charm for those willing to seek it out.

This break works best with a Northwest swell but can also handle SouthWest and North swells. You can expect waves that range in height from about 0.6 meters to 0.6 meters (2 feet). The surf breaks over an uneven reef and sand, creating a right-hand point break. As for wind, the preferred direction is Southeast, and you can surf during low, mid, or high tides. Boats Point is suitable for intermediate surfers looking to test their skills in a not-so-crowded setting.
