Overview
Bod is a sand-bottom right-hander that has lost some of its quality since a harbour extension went in. Sand may still build up along the east side of the jetty, so the bank there is worth a look before you commit.
When It Works
Swell arrives from southeast through south, and south (S) is the direction that lines the wave up best. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, so aim for a swell somewhere inside that window.
Wind and Tide
Look for north (N) wind to groom the face. It can work through most of the tide, though a rising tide is generally the better call.
