Boulevard surf guide

Boulevard is a beachbreak located just a short trike ride north of town, close to the disco scene. It's known to be a bit inconsistent, but when the conditions are right, it can serve up some fun waves. The spot gets good mainly with a sizable swell due to the natural protection from the cove and some offshore islets.

The surf works best with a Northeast swell direction, but it can also pick up waves from the North and East. You'll find that it can handle swell sizes starting from about 1 ft (0.3 m). The beachbreak offers both left and right waves, making it suitable for surfers of all levels, particularly beginners. The best surf generally happens at low, mid, and high tide, with Southwest winds providing optimal conditions.

It's worth noting that during big Northeast swells, you might catch some faster rights at the river mouth. So, keep an eye on the swell and wind conditions before heading out, and you might just find your groove at Boulevard.
