Surf: Getting to Buddha Beach is a mission, but the 16m statue lends a unique feel to the place. It's generally surfed on typhoon swells with SW winds, as the NE monsoon is onshore. Narrow rocky beach that picks up swell, but it's a messy set-up and there's often bad backwash. Environment: Solo surfing.
