Surf: If Palplanche isn’t working, check Cap Lopez, the most reliable spot, on the other side of Village des Togolais, just below the lighthouse. Open to all swells, these beachbreaks are predominately lefts, jack up close to shore and produce hollow barrels with some shape. The water quality, like everywhere in this area, is a little murky but at least there is some power.
