Cape Three Points is a surf spot located near Prince’s Town, known for picking up a good amount of swell. It’s not the most famous spot, but it definitely has its charm. The area features a mix of sandy beaches and rocky ledges, making it a place where surfers can find different types of breaks. The vibe is pretty laid-back, and it can get busy with locals and a few travelers looking for a good session.
The waves at Cape Three Points are suitable for intermediates, making it a great spot if you're working on your skills. The optimal swell direction is from the south, but it can also handle swells coming from the southeast and southwest. You'll find good waves with sizes around 2 feet (about 0.6 meters), breaking over both rock ledges and sand. The main point features a mellow right ride that's perfect for longboarders and those just getting the hang of things. There’s also a left on the west side of the lighthouse that can provide a decent ride when the swell is sizable. The beachbreak to the east can be fast and offers a mix of left and right options. For the best conditions, the wind coming from the north and the tide being low, mid, or high work out well.
Aside from surfing, the surrounding environment includes a rivermouth to the west, which adds some interest to your visit. The beachbreak in front of the lagoon is fun and can be worth checking out, especially if the main point is crowded. It's a good spot to unwind after a session, just soaking in the beach scene.
