Surf: A natural harbour has been created at Lambert’s Bay by building a breakwater out to Bird Island, a massive slab of rock colonised by thousands of penguins, cormorants and cape gannets. In front of the rivermouth, at the north end is the Caravan Park with a tide dependant, mushy beachbreak, favouring lefts. Environment: Consistent but uninspiring spot.
