This rocky bay can tempt surfers to a defined left and a few rocky peaks but needs a peaky swell and high tide to not close-out. There's also a rad right at bigger sizes that the bodyboarders love. Can be annoying with soft shoulders and not connecting up, but check on headhigh with more N in the swell. Also a fun left/right peak in the middle of the bay at higher tides.

Winding tight roads and lack of parking from both Guethary and Acotz doesn't make it crowd free. Because of the rocks scattered over the shelf, it's not for beginners. Waste water treatment plant could mean problems during heavy rain, peak season and late summer.
