Darya Bozorg, also known as Big Sea, is a surf spot located on the other side of town. It’s fairly accessible and is a good place to check the surf conditions. The beach offers some interesting setups, although many waves end up breaking over dry reef, which might not be ideal for every surfer.
This spot works best with a south swell direction, specifically from the southeast and south. It can handle swell sizes starting from around 2ft (0.6 meters). Surfers can ride both left and right waves here, with breaks occurring over uneven reef and sand. The best times to surf are during low, mid, and high tide, and a north wind is preferable. Keep in mind that this spot is better suited for intermediate surfers due to the wave conditions and setup.
