Surf: El Charco is a long lined-up left that breaks best on NW swells and any S wind. Powerful, tubular and challenging it needs to be headhigh swell to start linking together the many sections that break seperately in small swells. There’s also an outside peak called El Pozo for big wave chargers. Environment: Really tough break with heavy currents, localism and some shallow lava rocks to contend with.
