Surf: FAE has a very consistent workable left wall off the point plus some strong hollow beachbreak peaks. Best with small to moderate SW swell as it gets hectic when too big. Down the long Mar Bravo beach to Punta Carneros has good sandbars and is popular with Salinas locals and bodyboarders. Environment: Used for competitions because it is so reliable. Park with the tourists at Chocolatera after driving through the naval base. Another local spot to check is La Chueca. Watch out for the sea lions.
