If you're seeking a bit more variety, there's another shorter left wave hugging the headland in the next bay east, especially when the swell picks up.
The surf breaks over boulders and sand, handling swell sizes starting from around 2 feet (0.6 meters). The best conditions happen with northeast swells, but southeast swells can also work from time to time.
