Surf: Closer to town is Guacuco which picks up plenty of swell at this wide open, 5km long beach. Often messy with lines of whitewash making it the ideal beach for the local surf school. Some fun easy waves without the crowd of better surfers who will be up the coast. Environment: Escuela De Surf Guacuco Roots does lessons and rentals here.
