General: Out in the middle of the ocean, between St. Simon's and Little St. Simon's, is an open-water sandbar spot that chucks grinding, peeling waves at low tide when conditions align. It sits straight out from 5th Street and is visible from shore, but you'll need a boat or kayak to get out there. Tides: mid to high Size: waist-head high Wind: W Swell: NE, E, SE Bottom: Sand Paddling: Surfing in an inlet so you are pretty much always paddling. Spot Rating: Can offer a pretty decent wave, but very rare for conditions to align.
