Kbeir is a surf spot located across the Hassan II bridge in Rabat, right in front of the large Oudayas Surf Club. The name Kbeir translates to "Grave," which might give you a hint about its vibe. It's known for its short and powerful left-hand waves that work well with smaller swells and can be a fun ride for intermediate surfers.
This spot really shines with a north-west swell, but you can catch waves from the west or north too. It handles swell sizes down to about 1 foot (0.3 meters), which makes it a decent option when the surf is small. The waves break over sand, and you'll find another left called Cascade outside the jetty. Plongeoir handles some waves on the river side, and Bergama is located just at the rivermouth, giving you a couple of options in the area. For the best experience, southeast winds and low tide heights are preferable.
Just be prepared for some crowds when you hit the water. It's a popular spot, so you might have to share the waves with other surfers. Given its location and setup, it's a solid spot for those looking to improve their skills or just enjoy some fun lefts.
