Surf: Lake Superior is the largest surface, deepest and coldest of the Great Lakes, and unsurprisingly, has the biggest surfable waves. Its western end hosts the best spots, with optimal conditions being a strong, long duration, NE wind, followed by offshore NW. Bordering the town of Duluth, Lester River (aka L-train) is a potentially excellent left point next to the rivermouth.
