Surf: A 10min drive west of Vanimo lie the classic pointbreaks off Lido Village. Lido’s Rights peel down a long line of mainly limestone rubble reef and sand with a full variety of walls from easy crumbling lips to tuck and dash backdoor sections. All tides and any S in the wind will see fun tropical waves for the small groups of tourist surfers. Environment: Intermediates at least to make the drop and avoid the reef. West of Vanimo lie the speedy, sucky left barrels of Yako and the longer walls of Maromo.
