Lossit Bay is a remote beachbreak located in a stunning natural area, making it a great escape from the busier spots. While it might feel a bit isolated, this surf spot has its unique charm. It's best to park at Lossit Farm when you visit and take a hike to reach the beach.
The surf here is quite variable. It works best with a swell direction from the NorthWest and can handle swells that range from about 2ft (0.6 meters) up. You’ll find waves breaking over sand, and both left and right-handers are available. The area does have some rip currents, so it can feel rippy and a bit dangerous when sizes pick up, so be aware of that. Perfect wind conditions come from the East, and you can catch waves at all tide heights—low, mid, or high.
For the most consistent surf, the spot is best visited with swells from the SouthWest and NorthWest. It’s a good idea to check the forecast before heading out. If you’re in the mood for some adventure and a less crowded lineup, Lossit Bay could be just the place you’re looking for.
