More about Malibu surfspot

Malibu is a Chiba typhoon classic; a right reefbreak that can hold triple overhead in a south-facing bay. Longboard heaven at waisthigh, the rights are long and cruisey until a solid SE-S swell shifts the peak way outside and makes the first section hollow, especially on the lefts. Lower tides only and any N wind. Theres a few other options within the confines of the bay.

Not so consistent, which makes the crowding as bad as its Californian namesake when it does awaken. To make the situation worse, parking is at a premium.
