At the southern end of Cote des Basques long beach, rocky fingers anchor the sand and can produce some steep wedges from low to mid tide and S winds. The maze of rocks means nothing works for too long and it is easy to get cut off from the access path as the tide cuts off the beach. Looks horrible in an onshore and gets overpowered by the swell quite easily.

Easy parking in the small car park and streets surrounding the thalassotherapy centre and the beach bar is worth stopping at for a hot or cold one.
