Mussolinis is a left-hand reef break that peels over live coral.
When It Works
It draws swell from the south through southwest, and lines up best on a southwest swell. The reef is usable from 1.2 m / 4 ft to 4.6 m / 15 ft, so it can hold plenty of size once a solid swell fills in.
Wind and Tide
Look for an east offshore wind to groom the face. It breaks on low and mid tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The wave suits intermediate surfers.
Access
Getting out here takes some effort. Reach Sarodrano by boat or 4WD, then hop in a pirogue to paddle out to the break.
