When the swell is lacking, Pelican Beach becomes the most reliable option around. This long, wide-open beachbreak works year-round, has plenty of peaks to spread a crowd and often has epic banks in small NE swells. Further down the beach, there’s more good banks at The Entrance, one of the more cosmopolitan towns along the Central Coast.
Can get pretty crazily crowded considering the breadth of the beach. Car park soaks up plenty of vehicles. Very consistent.
