Crackneck surf guide

Surf: At the end of some typical Aussie flat shelf strata is Crackneck, a secluded, fast-breaking, lefthand reef for the more adventurous surfers. It works best with NE-E swells and from low to mid tide, plus there’s a short, shallow right for the suicidal! Check from the Hilltop St lookout south of Bateau Bay. Directions: go to Hilltop st car park and walk down Environment: Often crowded because it is only medium consistency. Experts only.
