Pimentel surf guide
Surf: The long, dishevelled pier points directly into the SW swells, catching sand and heaping it up into long bars, promoting rolling peaks and plenty of fun corners. Often fills up through the holes and reforms through the inside. Prefers summer NW swells to hit the winter build-up, when good lefts set up on the south side. A fun wave for practicing turns on loose, small wave boards.
Environment: Cool scene with plenty of holiday-makers and a casual ambience. Well worth a day-trip detour. There is a local surf crew but there are plenty of waves to go round. Currents can be strong at times.
