Pozm is a surf spot that offers a unique experience for surfers looking to catch some waves. It's not the easiest place to access, as getting around requires a solid 4x4 vehicle. This spot has its share of challenges, especially with the lefts breaking close to the cliffs near the jetty. However, if you're willing to navigate the area, there are some decent waves to be found.
The optimal swell direction at Pozm is from the SouthEast, with good waves showing up when the swell comes from SouthEast or South. It can handle swell sizes starting from about 3ft (0.9 meters), which is suitable for intermediate surfers. The waves break over boulders and follow a left direction, making it a fun spot to ride. The best wind conditions come from the NorthEast, and you can find workable waves during low, mid, or high tide. While it might not have the best setup around, it can still deliver some enjoyable rides when conditions align.
There’s potential to explore the area beyond Pozm, especially towards the end of the Konarak peninsula for better waves. Just keep in mind that there’s a naval base nearby, which can limit access to some areas. Overall, Pozm can be a hit or miss, but with the right conditions, it can definitely surprise you.
