Surf: Some 80km (50mi) north of Antofagasta, the small bay of Pozo Verde has surf on both sides, with both left and right points that get perfect around 6ft (2m). Environment: While it is a long drive from town, it can get a little crowd on occasions, especially in summer when it is more likely to be working on smaller swells.
