Reinante is a beachbreak surf spot known for its quick, hollow waves. It's located on the coast, and while it can have decent waves, it’s only moderately consistent, as the West swells often miss this area. The beach can get pretty busy during the summer with tourists, but you’ll usually find a bit of space to get your session in.
This spot really thrives with Northwest swells and can handle wave sizes of up to 3ft (around 1 meter). The waves break over sand and offer both left and right rides. For the best conditions, it’s good to hit the water when the tide is low, mid, or high, especially when the wind comes from the Southwest. Keep in mind, this place is better suited for expert surfers due to the fast nature of the waves.
The surrounding area is nice for beachgoers as well. There are good beach facilities, and you can find several campsites and bars to chill at nearby. The coast road also gives you a great view of the other bays around, making it a pleasant spot to hang out, even if you're not surfing.
