Saunton Sands is a huge stretch of beach located in North Devon. It's a popular spot for surfers thanks to its long, sandy beach backed by dunes. The best swell direction is from the west, with workable swells also coming from the southwest and northwest. The paddling can be okay when it's small but can get quite lengthy when the waves are bigger. Saunton Sands handles all tide heights, but the low tide tends to be the most favorable.
