Ujung Bocor surf guide

Surf: The point at Ujung Bocor (aka Karang Nyimbor) is the main attraction and most travelling surfers stay in the losmens there to enjoy this consistent left that's sheltered from the SE trades. On smaller swells, it's a pretty mellow wave by Indo standards, flipping between long, workable walls and a few half-face, hollow pockets, with rides up to 200m plus (650ft). Gets a bit heavier and hollower as it reaches the double overhead mark, so take a longer board. Paddle out from the tip of the point where it is shallower and more barrelly especially at lower tides on a WSW swell.
