At the southern end of Long Beach, Wickaninnish is a popular spot with hotels, trails, viewpoints and the Wickaninnish Centre for the Pacific Rim National Park. Strewn with drftwood and protected from S winds, it’s more friendly beachbreak for learners.

General: A popular spot with a big, wide, flat sandy beach, Wickaninnish can get good, just not that good, and if it's good here, it's better somewhere else. Tides: Incoming, medium to high Size: Waist-head high Wind: Glassy or NE Swell: SW, W Bottom: Sand Paddling: Not too bad. Spot Rating: Kinda fun.
