Yoyo surf guide

Yoyo is a surf spot located at Km25, accessed via a rough desert track. It's known for its right pointbreak that's quite popular among surfers. While it can be a bit shallow and cylindrical, the spot does get fairly exposed to the winds. With the right conditions, it can handle some decent swells. However, it's not the most consistent spot out there, so it may not always deliver the best waves.

This pointbreak works best with swells coming from the Northwest, as well as the West and North. Yoyo is capable of handling swells as small as 3 feet (about 0.9 meters) and can break over an uneven reef. The waves here generally have a right direction, making it suitable for right-handers. The wind works best from the east, and you can surf it during low, mid, or high tides. It’s more ideal for intermediate surfers, so if you’re still learning the ropes, it might be a bit challenging.

Keep in mind that Yoyo can get pretty crowded, especially when conditions are good. Since it's exposed to the wind, the quality of the surf can vary quite a bit. Catching it at the right time with the right swell direction will make a difference in your session, so it’s worth keeping an eye on the forecast if you're planning to hit it up.
