Surf: The best spot on the island when the swell is very N. Various sloppy waves that see the odd surfer in winter and holiday bodyboarders in summer. On a rare big winter day a heavyweight right breaks over a rock ledge that's only been ridden a couple of times. More consistent than Cala Nova. Access: very crowded in summer so parking on the thin road can be difficult. the walk down to the beach is steep and slippery, especially after rain. There are 2 samll areas for parking down the hill but the road is terrible so beware. Environment: Cool hippy semi nudist beach popular with local islanders. there are a couple of rough steep roads down to the sea with limited parking otherwise park at the top and walk.
