Playa Jondal is a long, pebbly beach located in Ibiza. It's a pretty laid-back spot that's not too crowded with surfers, especially outside of the summer months. Getting there is straightforward, and there’s easy parking available, so it’s a chill option if you're looking to hit the waves.
The surf here works best with swells coming from the south, southeast, or southwest. It can handle swells around 1 foot (about 0.3 meters) and you can find some decent left and right waves breaking over the sandy bottom. Conditions are generally better with a north wind, and the tide can be low, mid, or high. It's a spot that’s suitable for beginners, making it a good place to learn and practice your skills.
Since it’s not super crowded, you can usually find some room to surf without feeling rushed. Just remember that it’s not a spot that will always deliver the best waves, especially compared to some of the more popular breaks on the island. Still, it can have its moments, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you're around.
