Blackbeard Island surf guide
Surf: General: Located approximately 18 miles from Shellman's Bluff, Georgia, Blackbeard Island is another wildlife refuge. Camping and fires are prohibited, but you're allowed to legally hike or bike its interior. Blackbeard is accessible from the north end of Sapelo Island, which also must be reached by boat, at the primitive Cabretta campground.
