Corbyn's Bay is a palm-fringed beachbreak just east of Port Blair's airport, breaking over sand with both lefts and rights. It sits along the main tourist beach in the area, and more often than not it lies flat or throws a tiny closeout unless there is some swell filtering through.
When It Works
The bay draws swell from east through south to southwest, with southeast swell the best match. It really needs windswell from the east-southeast or a booming south swell to sneak in, so it can be somewhat inconsistent. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.2 m / 4 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for west offshore wind to clean it up. The beachbreak can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
