Surf: Cuyutlan can be a huge close-out shorebreak, unless a small peaky S-W swell hits the straight black sandbanks, creating tube-time for the nimble. Up the beach, Tepalcates inlet groynes bend any swell, cut most winds and triangulate the sand nicely. La Termo has hot barrels in the power station outflow and La Dos has any N wind protection for the wedges beside the cliffs. Environment: Quality, powerful waves not really for beginners on anything above shoulder high.
