El Puerto surf guide

Surf: General: This long left pointbreak is without doubt the best wave the city has on offer - long lines peeling into the bay from the point to the base of the pier. Tides: Low tide Size: Slightly overhead Wind: S Swell: SW, W Bottom: Sand and rocks Paddling: A long left point, going to take some energy to get back to the top after a long ride. Spot Rating: Not world class, but the best wave you'll find in the area, Access: In the fishing complex or if you stay at Maci, right by the house Crowds: Crowd Factor: Very rarely, one contest a year there where the water is overcrowded Local Vibe: Cool surfers, but be careful with your stuff. Environment: Not bad, can get a bit dirty after a rain Hazards: Bouncing off the bottom. Season: February-April
