Surf: Above average pier surf that can wedge up and barrel. Bigger swells will break through to high tide, otherwise it’s a shorebreak. Best on low incoming, but the good sandbars are usually within the 150-yard no-go area on either side of the pier. Often crowded, reflecting this spot’s consistency. Best place to surf with 4-time world champ, Frieda Zamba.
