Surf: This used to be the hot spot back in the ’60s and ’70s but the crowd has drifted south to greener pastures. Same deal as Sunglow, except there is a chair lift along the length of the pier. Pity it doesn’t drop you out the back when it’s big. Environment: If you want to surf Main St in summer and park on the beach, get there early, otherwise it will be expensive meter parking. Beware: focal point of midsummer college revelers.
