Surf: Ngapali Beach is the largest and oldest resort open to foreigners and the only spot that definitely has accessible waves in the nearby vicinity, like Gottaung Beach, 2kms to the north. Don’t expect much above chest-high peelers, but it can be wedgy and hollow, especially at low tide. Environment: No pollution, hazards or crowds.
