Surf: An extremely heavy, dangerous, and unforgiving righthand reef barrel replete with boils, suck-out ledges and wicked currents. The lefts are ridden, too, but are far less formidable. “The Canyon” can be the area’s best break when it’s on. Glory days are usually mid-winter, with overhead NW swell and SE storm wind.
