Surf: For those not interested in braving the roads, head to Ikei Island, stay at the Big Time Hotel and wait for the right conditions. The reefs facing the hotel enjoy a wide swell window and are fun headhigh. If it gets bigger, the west side of Ikei produces Sunset Beach-like rights but care should be taken avoiding sea urchins and strong currents. Environment: This is one of the most consistent breaks on the island and is often crowded. During rare E typhoon swells, nearby Tengan Pier will be firing and crowded.
